Integrations

Ortho2 has developed integrations for a variety of third-party products, including popular imaging, modeling, telephony, and financial products. Any third party product following the available integration specifications may be integrated, allowing you to launch multiple third-party programs directly from within ViewPoint. With ViewPoint, the choice is truly yours.

Imaging

  • AnatoCeph
    VP Imaging integrates with AnatoCeph from Anatomage. From a patient's lateral ceph image on the VP Imaging tab, the AnatoCeph software opens the image so it can be traced. The traced image is then saved in VP Imaging for easy reference.
  • Anatomage InVivoDental
    InVivoDental™ volumetric imaging software from Anatomage reads DICOM data from CT machines. This integration allows you to start the InVivoDental software or the InVivo Viewer from a ViewPoint patient record and go directly to that patient's images
  • cephX
    VP Imaging integrates with the cephX Web based software service. From a patient's lateral ceph image on the VP Imaging tab, the image can be sent to cephX to be traced, either by you or by them. The traced image is then saved in VP Imaging for easy reference.
  • Dolphin Imaging
    The ViewPoint/Dolphin Imaging integration allows you to use the frontal smiling image from Dolphin Imaging in ViewPoint, On-Deck, and Treatment Chart, and use all images in ViewPoint letters. You can also start Dolphin Imaging from Viewpoint and use ViewPoint to update and create new records in Dolphin Imaging. The integration includes more than 30 sample letters, ready to use with image variables included.
  • FYI Technologies Dr. Ceph
    The ViewPoint integration with Dr. Ceph, FYI Technologies's ceph analysis program, allows you to start the Dr. Ceph software from a ViewPoint patient record. It will also add new patients to Dr. Ceph if they do not already exist.
  • FYI Technologies Dr. View
    The ViewPoint integration with Dr. View, an image capture and case presentation program from FYI Technologies, allows you to start the Dr. View software from a ViewPoint patient record. It will also add new patients to Dr. View if they do not already exist.
  • MediaDent
    The ViewPoint integration with MediaDent® Digital Imaging from MultiMedia Dental Systems, Inc. allows you to start the MediaDent software from a ViewPoint patient record and go directly to that patient's image.
  • Ortho-Vision Records
    The ViewPoint/Ortho-Vision Records integration allows you to use patients' Ortho-Vision Records thumbnail photos in ViewPoint, On-Deck, and Treatment Chart. You can also start Ortho-Vision from Viewpoint and use ViewPoint to update and create new records in Ortho- Vision.
  • Quick Ceph
    The ViewPoint/Quick Ceph integration allows you to use the frontal smiling image from Quick Ceph® in ViewPoint, On-Deck, and Treatment Chart, and use all images in ViewPoint letters. You can also export patient information from ViewPoint to create records in Quick Ceph. The integration includes nearly 30 sample letters, ready to use with image variables included.
  • Standard Imaging Integration
    Ortho2 has developed a standard integration which can function with many imaging products, providing they either store or can export images to standard image file formats and use the required naming convention. The facial smile can be seen in ViewPoint, On-Deck, and Treatment Chart, and all images can be opened from ViewPoint and used in letters.
  • VistaDent
    The ViewPoint/VistaDent integration allows you to use the frontal smiling image from GAC Technocenter's  VistaDent™ software in ViewPoint, On-Deck, and Treatment Chart, and use all images in ViewPoint letters. You can also start VistaDent from Viewpoint and use ViewPoint to update and create new records in VistaDent. The integration includes nearly 30 sample letters, ready to use with image variables included.

Radiography


In general, any radiography device that uses a TWAIN compliant driver should be able to be used as a scanner to add images to VP Imaging—without the purchase of any additional hardware or software! The following devices are some we have worked with so far.
  • Gendex DenOptix
    The Gendex DenOptix phosphor imaging plate processor, when set up correctly, will function the same as a regular scanner within VP Imaging.
  • Gendex Orthoralix 9200
    The Gendex Orthoralix 9200 direct digital pan/ceph system, when set up correctly, will function the same as a regular scanner within VP Imaging.
  • Instrumentarium CliniView
    CliniView™ software is used to capture panoramic, cephalometric, and intraoral images from a variety of Instrumentarium devices. When the TWAIN driver included with CliniView is set up correctly, this will function the same as a scanner from within VP imaging.
  • Planmeca Devices
    Several imaging devices from Planmeca, when set up correctly, will function the same as a regular scanner within VP Imaging.
  • Sirona Sidexis
    Sidexis software is used to capture panoramic images from the Sirona Scanner. When set up correctly, the Sirona Scanner will function the same as a regular scanner within VP Imaging.
  • Soredex Cranex D
    The Soredex Cranex D panoramic dental X-ray machine, when set up correctly, will function the same as a regular scanner within VP Imaging.

The following non-TWAIN compliant devices can be used as a scanner to add images to VP Imaging.

  • Kodak 8000C and 9000C
    The Kodak 8000C Digital Panoramic and Cephalometric System and the Kodak 9000C deliver panoramic and cephalometric images. When set up correctly either will function the same as a regular scanner within VP Imaging.

The following radiography devices and software packages have integrations designed to open the images in the third party software.

  • Gendex VixWin
    The ViewPoint integration with VixWin software from Gendex allows you to start the VixWin software from a ViewPoint patient record and go directly to that patient's images.
  • Planmeca Dimaxis
    The ViewPoint integration with the Planmeca Dimaxis radiography software allows you to start the Dimaxis software from a ViewPoint patient record. You can also update and add new patients to Dimaxis from ViewPoint. Alternately, or in addition, when set up correctly, it will function the same as a scanner from within VP imaging.
  • Soredex Digora
    Digora® software is used with a variety of Soredex radiography machines. This integration allows you to start the Digora software from a ViewPoint patient record. You can also update and add new patients to Digora from ViewPoint.
  • Visix
    The ViewPoint integration with Visix software from Air Techniques provides direct access to the Visix program from ViewPoint. If the patient doesn't exist in Visix, one will be created with first name, last name, and patient ID from the patient's ViewPoint record.

Modeling

  • GAC OrthoPlex
    The ViewPoint integration with OrthoPlex software from GAC allows you to start the OrthoPlex software from ViewPoint patient record and view that patient's models.
  • GeoDigm emodel
    The ViewPoint integration with emodel® software from GeoDigm allows you to start the emodel software from a ViewPoint patient record.
  • OrthoByte
    The ViewPoint integration with Orthobyte's 3-D Viewer software allows you to start the Orthobyte program from a ViewPoint patient record and view a selected 3-D model for the patient.
  • OrthoCAD
    The ViewPoint integration with Cadent's OrthoCAD™ 3-D digital models will allow you to start the OrthoCAD program from a ViewPoint patient record and view that patient's OrthoCAD record.
  • OrthoProof DigiModel
    The ViewPoint integration with DigiModel viewing software from OrthoProof USA™ will allow you to start the DigiModel software from a ViewPoint patient record and view that patient's models.

Telephony

  • Julysoft ReminderPro
    The ViewPoint integration with ReminderPro from JulySoft allows you to create your calling list in ViewPoint and pass that information to ReminderPro.
  • Tel-A-Patient Powercalls
    The ViewPoint integration with PowerCalls from Tel-A-Patient allows you to create your calling list in ViewPoint and pass that information to PowerCalls.
  • Televox Housecalls
    The ViewPoint integration with HouseCalls™ from TeleVox® allows you to create your calling list in ViewPoint and pass that information to HouseCalls.

Financial

  • ChaseHealthAdvance
    This integration opens the ChaseHealthAdvance financing options(SM) (formerly Unicorn Financial®) website and transfers patient information from ViewPoint. ChaseHealthAdvance allows you to offer no down payment 18 and 24 month no interest plans, decreasing accounts receivable and increasing case acceptance. They offer you Instant online credit decisioning, 24/7 online activity reports with free enrollment, and no equipment to purchase.
  • OrthoBanc
    With this integration, you access OrthoBanc's state-of-the-art system which provides patient credit risk assessment in just seconds. After you create payment plans, they are submitted from ViewPoint to OrthoBanc. OrthoBanc collects payments, managing credit card expiration dates and NSF/failed payment follow-up, and deposits are downloaded from OrthoBanc and posted directly in patients' Ledgers.
  • Vanco Services
    The ViewPoint integration with Vanco allows you to easily process credit card and electronic funds transfer AutoReceipts through Vanco Services's e.service® payment solutions right from ViewPoint. Vanco Services is a PCI (Payment Card Industry) Level 1 Compliant Service Provider. Then, payment information is posted directly into patient Ledgers.
  • X-Charge
    VP Credit Card, included in ViewPoint, lets you swipe or manually enter credit card payment information directly into patients' Ledgers individually or with AutoReceipts. Individual PIN debit transactions and AutoReceipt ACH electronic transfers are also included. All transactions are authorized quickly over a secure connection, using free X-Charge credit card processing software by CAM Commerce Solutions. With VP Credit Card, you can provide your responsible party with one receipt that includes the credit card payment information, enhancing your professional image and simplifying transactions for everybody.

Case Planning/Presentation

  • ClinCheck
    This integration opens Align Technology's ClinCheck website and passes the patient's ClinCheck ID to help you download the desired ClinCheck.
  • OrthoMation
    The standard integration with GAC Technocenter's OrthoMation™ case presentation system allows you to start the OrthoMation software from a ViewPoint patient record and have the patient's findings transfer over. The OrthoMation slideshow integration allows you to trigger a specific slideshow from a ViewPoint patient record. You can choose to use either integration or both.
  • ScreenPlay
    Ortho2 and ScreenPlay Technologies have developed a system that integrates ViewPoint with ScreenPlay. ScreenPlay can be started from within a ViewPoint patient record. The patient's images and information from the patient's findings are used to create a protocol within ScreenPlay. When ScreenPlay is closed, the protocol is recorded in the patient's ViewPoint correspondence history.
  • SureSmile - Demo
    The ViewPoint integration with SureSmile Treatment Planning Software transfers a patient's images and biographical information from ViewPoint to SureSmile.
